Poetic Pilgrimage is a British Muslim hip-hop duo founded in 2002. They express themselves through the art of rhyme, covering personal and social issues/themes whilst also working to ensure that they do not compromise their personal beliefs.

In September 2016 FORWARD presented ‘Musicians Unite to End female genital mutilation (FGM)’ two evenings in London and Bristol with Grammy award winner and Radio 3 World Music Award nominee Dobet Gnahore. Poetic Pilgrimage were special guests, a female Hip Hop and Spoken Word duo. They are one of the few Muslim female outfits in the UK and they bring a refreshing perspective to issues of identity, global politics and women’s issues inspired by their faith and legacy of their ancestors.
